Andreas Deris lahir pada August 18th, 1964 di Karlsruhe, Germany. Waktu berumur 15 tahun, Andi mulai belajar bermain gitar sambil menyanyi. Band pertama nya bernama Paranoid dan 2 tahun kemudian ketika umur 17 tahun berubah nama menjadi Nameless bersama Ralph Maison sebagai drummernya yang juga bermain di solo album Andi Deris “Come In From The Rain” dan “Done By Mirrors. Andi dan Ralph kemudian membentuk band Kymera.

Ketika Ralph keluar lalu Kosta Zafiriou bergabung Di akhir tahun 1987 Andi and Kosta membentuk band Pink Cream 69 dengan Andi Deris sebagai Vocals, Kosta Zafiriou pada drums, Alfred Koffler pada Guitars dan Dennis Ward di bagian bass. Kemudian PC69 ini menjadi terkenal dan memenangkan Metal Hammer’s “Best New Band” award di Rockfabrik - Germany. PC69 lalu menandatangani kontrak pertama mereka dengan CBS/Sony Music.

Di tahun 1989 Andi Deris and Pink Cream 69 merilis album pertama mereka yg bertitel “Pink Cream 69”. Mereka lalu melakukan tour pertamanya sebagai band pembuka untuk White Lion di Europe dan bermain di Amerika untuk pertama kalinya pada tahun 1990.

Di tahun 1991 Pink Cream 69 merilis album keduanya yang bertitel “One Size Fits All”. Album ini mendapat respon yang bagus di Negara-negara Eropa dan menjadikan PC69 sebagai salah satu band Hard Rock yang besar di Eropa. PC69 juga konser di Jepang sebagai bagian dari album live video mereka yang “Size it Up! Live in Japan!”.

Tahun1993 PC69 merilis album “Games People Play” yang menjadi album terakhir Andi Deris bersama Pink Cream 69.
Kemudian Andi Deris bergabung dengan Helloween di akhir tahun 1993 atau awal 1994 untuk menggantikan Michael Kiske.
Kehadiran Andi Deris di Helloween membawa angin baru di band dan ketika Master of the Rings dirilis,hal ini membawa Helloween kembali ke chart atas band power metal di dunia. Andi Deris telah merilis banyak album bersama Helloween diantaranya: “The Time of The Oath”, “High Live“, “Better Than Raw”, “Metal Jukebox”, “The Dark Ride”, “Rabbit Don’t Come Easy”, “Keeper of The Seven Keys - The Legacy”, and most recently a live CD entitled “Live in Sao Paulo”, DVD bertitel “Live on 3 Continents” dan album terbaru di tahun 2007 “Gambling With The Devil”.

Di karir solonya Andi Deris telah merilis dua album“Come in From The Rain” tahun 1997 dan “Done By Mirrors” tahun 2000.
